A clothes dryer heats up a considerable amount of air. This heated and humid air is vented outside. This is a necessary practice in the summer but in the winter it is wasted heat. To recover heated air that is usually wasted in the winter, use a Dryer Heat Saver. There are several types of portable indoor electric space heaters. Each heater is best suited to certain uses, although all are capable of heating a room or a small space. While insulating your attic is easy, there is a difficult spot to insulate. The problem area is where either the attic ladder or the hatch access to your attic is located. The main purpose of insulating water pipes is to prevent heat passage from hot water pipes to the surrounding air. In some cold regions, insulation also prevents water from freezing in a pipe, especially when the pipe runs outside a building. Tube Pipe Insulation blocks heat loss or gain to save energy. It also stops condensation on cold pipes.

They don’t blow air around, so they don’t make noise. They are safe because the heating element is sealed and heated internally. No fumes, no flames. Oscillating Ceramic Heaters: These heaters move from side to side, allowing the cool breeze to be felt throughout the room. This type of heater has a fan only setting, so it can be used as a portable fan in the summertime
Personal Heaters: These are small heaters that can be placed near you, but also are powerful enough to heat an entire room or a small area.
Utility Heaters: These rugged all-metal portable heaters have roll bars to ensure durability and safety. They are ideal for spot heating in the garage, basement, work-room or other areas.
Even when the volume of air coming out of the registers is adequate, it may not be pointed in an optimal direction for heating and/or cooling. Air Deflectorsare designed to attach to any metal register to redirect air for added comfort and energy savings. In the winter it is good to redirect air from the top towards the bottom of the room. In the summer, the cool air stays at the lower level of the room and should be deflected toward the top of the room. Air Deflectors can be used for Wall Registers or Baseboard Registers.

Wall Switch Control
